The special event "The Scottish Workshop" delivered by ALISTAIR HENDERSON on the 6th of September was attended by approximately 35 people, both members of the public and members of BFHA.
It was extremely well received and we are encouraged to offer similar type events in the new year.
Details of 2026 Special Events will be available here when arrangements are finalised.
They will be open to public booking. Members will receive a discount on admission.

The BFHA Book Club is for members and is held on the third Wednesday of the month at 11:30 am for approximately 1.5 hours, usually at the home of a member in Banksia Beach. A maximum of 10 members can attend, and vacancies are currently available. Each month, we read a historical novel (from the Moreton Bay Library, as set of 10) and then discuss it at the meeting. For example, we consider what we liked, what we didn't like, what resonated with us, and what we learned.
